The Delaware County Cultural Arts Center, otherwise known as The Arts Castle, is dedicated to nurturing the creative energies of the residents of Delaware County and surrounding areas. We offer a full array of multi-art experiences including classes in painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, glass, jewelry and fiber arts. We have a strong performing arts program that includes instruction in dance, drama, and music. Healthy mind and body meditative studies such as Yoga, creative journaling and bereavement support classes for families are popular and offer opportunities to make new friends. We feature creative workshops, summer camps, exhibitions, and special events that are fun for the whole family. Our Homeschool program fills an important need in the community providing students the opportunity to explore many different art experiences.

For Summer Quarter

In an effort to save on expenses, we will no longer produce the class catalog for mass distribution. Our classes will be listed online and in a downloadable class list. This will not only save a considerable amount of monetary resources but will free up valuable time that can be used to better serve our patrons.

Class listings will be available at the Arts Castle in a simplified form for those who want a printed copy.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are made possible through the generous gifts of The Community Foundation of Delaware County, The Ohio Arts Council, individuals, corporations and fundraisers. Scholarships are available for students who qualify, and are based on financial need. Summer Scholarship Forms Available Here

If you have a specific class that you would like offered at The Arts Castle, please email our registrar, Brooke Camacho at bcamacho@artscastle.org. If our facilities can accommodate such a class and we can line up instructors to teach them; we will be happy to explore options. Our staff will answer any questions you might have. Please direct your questions to Brooke.

The class evaluation forms are an important tool to gauge the success of our programming. Please let us know how you feel about the classes you or your children take and rate the instructor's performance. If you would like to discuss a class in private, please call.

Feedback is important for our instructors as well. If you liked the class or have suggestions for follow up classes, please inform your instructor. Our instructors present class proposals before each quarter and the programming is developed from those proposals. Student ideas play an important role and will be considered. While it may not be possible to act on every suggestion, we encourage your participation in the planning process.
